Netbooks are so much smaller than laptops
They are light and really simple to move around. Very good for taking to work with you etc. I have not came across any key disadvantages apart from they dont have a disk drive.

Netbooks are basically laptops stripped down. They are optimized for web surfing and not much else. They’re perfectly fine for people who only need mobile net browsing and low-end applications, but they are not at all powerful enough to run most games or high-memory applications (like Photoshop for instance).
Basically, netbooks are ideal for low-impact users, but laptops are the better choice if you plan to do many things other than web surfing and email.

A laptop while not as powerful as a PC is built to run like one.
A netbook is made to be extremely portable. A netbook has no cd drive. It is not as powerful. It also has very little hard drive.
Get one if either you 1) dont have much $ or 2) Simply want to browse the web or type simple things. 3) Find laptops to heavy.
