Is it significantly worth getting the 2010 versions of antivirus software as opposed to the 2009 versions?
Question by feel_hard: Is it significantly worth finding the 2010 versions of antivirus computer software as opposed to the 2009 versions?
I've asked a prior question about which antivirus software program to get for a netbook, and the natural question which follows it is no matter whether its worth me dishing out far more cash for the 2010 version as opposed to the more affordable 2009 versions.
Is it truly a massive distinction, and will my netbook survive for 12 months on the 2009 version...?

The most crucial thing about anti virus software program is keeping it updated with the most recent virus definitions. Running anti virus software with outdated definitions is just like running NO anti virus computer software.
You have not specified precisely which anti virus plan you are using, but generally the 2009 version should be just fine as long as you maintain it updated as I stated above.
I would also advise some sort of spyware protection as properly, since most anti virus programs are not quite very good at spyware detection and removal.
Great Luck! Your netbook will survive if you take these simple precautions.

It’s up to you. As long as the AV will totally protect your PC you may not need the later version. You have to know whether you can get updates for the next year & the features you’ll be missing. Most websites that sell AV programs will show you the differences in versions because they want to sell the newerimproved one.
