First look at MeeGo v1.0 netbook operating system

MeeGo Linux is a custom operating technique created for netbooks, smartphones, and other world wide web-connected devices. Nowadays MeeGo v1. was released, and this video provides an overview of some of the capabilities of the operating program.

    yes, I reinstalled Windows and now everything works fine. ;)

    Don’t try to install MeeGo 1.2 – it somehow ruined my windows installation.

  7. I just installed it on my EEEPC. Looking forward to it.

  8. That’s what I loved about it. Even though I was running the OS off of a USB stick, boot times were extremely fast!

  11. At the bottom of Preferences>Personal stuff in Chromium, there’s the option “Hide system title bar and use compact borders”. This may help hide the title bar.

  21. @cumulus0007 well it still does not work here as well as the google synchronization. and in the app store are just a few apps. also playing a divx video did not work… :( i now installed thunderbird from the garage appstore but it did not show up anywhere allthough it said that it was successfully installed.

  22. @flexmaen The messenger is able to use MSN here just fine, ICQ should work as well. Installing software is not tricky at all, just use the app store.

    I disagree, it was seriously bad on my battery on my samsung n110 (only got 1.2hours)
