  4. We HAve Same Netbook but when i Play UberStrike on Facebook It lags!

  5. Not sure if it will fock us! :) )

  6. @MsSuperChannel well, on the unit I tested it was the OS that came with the computer. In some other countries though it comes with Windows 7 Starter by default, and only 1 GB of RAM

  7. Im sorry Im kind of confused about one thing (sorry if this is a really stupid question) The thing you were using called “Meego” doesnt come with the computer right? Its a program you have to download? And it operates on windows 7 starter?..

  8. @MAD9711 yes you can. if you’re running windows on it, i doubt they will work with meego

  9. @sdafjkashdjkasgdhvsa no

  10. does it has a dvd drive

  11. Bought it last week in blue, its top class and the design is smart

  12. remember that the screen cant show 720p

  13. I`m bying it :D

  14. This unit ships with windows7 starter in the US. Just got one for my son, and the 1GB RAM is good at low resolution but not great. I have ordered a 4 GB chip and hope to speed it up. Thanks for the clip very informative!

  15. So the Asus EEE PC X101 is coming out. Its a hundred dollars cheaper, much thinner, but only has 1 core. Would you recommend this over that (does this use the dual core efficiently enough that it would be better than a single core SSD netbook)?
    Thanks :D

  16. @damgudluken Still, in my country the d257 sells with this OS alone and no Windows and that will be a problem for the average buyer for sure. If offered as an alternative fast OS next to Windows, like Express Gate is, then we’d have a completely different talk and I’d probably appreciate it more than I do right now :P

  17. will get a vide on that one as soon as i get a new asus netbook. Linpus Meego (which I’m not sure if it’s identical to Meego 1.2, my experience with this OS is quite limited) seems overall more solid and with better features, plus it will get support from Intel’s App store and thus get rid of its most important problem right now: the difficulty in finding and installing apps for it.

  18. how would you compare this MeGo OS to the technology ASUS has? I forget what ASUS calls it, but something like ExpressGate? I remember you did a brief coverage of it a while ago. I’d actually like to see a video on that if you get a chance.
